About our staff
The classes were started in 1995 by Roy and Maria Lalor who are both members of the Institute of Swimming Teachers and Coaches and also run a branch of the Royal Life-Saving Society. Prior to that, they ran classes in Bray for over twenty years, which Roy had started in 1977. Maria also ran classes in Donaghmede for five years.

Maria is an Occupational First Aid Teacher and an Irish Heart Foundation Trainer in Defibrillation. Roy has been teaching on a Sports and Leisure Management course for the last twenty years and has recently taken a career break.

Roy and Maria also have a Pitman Training Centre in Swords and a safety training business LTS First Aid Specialists.
